Since moving here, we’re in Old City every other weekend. We miss many of the Asian dishes in NYC and Kaizen looked promising because the atmosphere and the menu look ideal. Unfortunately, the food was a total miss. The wait staff suggested the Stir fry lemongrass chicken noodle soup, and it was bland with Frito chips on top of it. My wife had the duck noodle soup and everything had one flavor, instead of being more complex. The gyozas were pockets of oil that we couldn’t finish. We wish the food was better but will not be returning.

This place is really neat! It's small and intimate, with cool decor. I strongly recommend the fried rice with their fried chicken. We also enjoyed their steamed buns.

Amazing healthy comfort food with the tofu dish. The menu looked really small but everything looked and smelled so delicious. The portions were good for a hungry person or too much not to take some home. The seats could have been padded but we sat there for a while.
